Title: New applications of harmonic analysis in combinatorics: Infinite association schemes
Abstract: Association schemes form one of the main objects of algebraic combinatorics, classically defined on finite sets. In this talk we outline a generalization of association schemes to general measure spaces. We construct schemes on zero-dimensional Abelian groups and observe that their eigenvalues form a class of generalized wavelet bases. The material is drawn from the preprint arXiv:1310.5359, work with M. Skriganov.
