A Nick Cave concert can be very intense, ear-splitting, and unforgettable, and not for the faint-of-heart..This was the final full gig of a long tour, and Mr. Cave and the band were indeed hot.. Perhaps the best live tour of 2013. Buy his new album, it’s great!
All rights owned by artist, posted as a fan only. The Balboa theater is the best venue in San Diego for a concert. Our seats were Orchestra Row M, seat 112. 14th row center. Their 2013 Coachella appearances were the weekend before and after this show, so they had a few open weeknights, and San Diego got lucky! This show sold out in less than five minutes, you could only buy two tickets, and the credit card holder had to be one of the two people attending. Nick stopped all scalping in its tracks, basically.. Recorded on iphone 4.
