This video shows iScanRoster mobile attendance using three (3) NFC/RFID readers simultaneously on the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone. One reader is the idChamp RS2 Bluetooth Prox reader (125 KHz). Reader two is the Scanfob® Ultra BB1 GEN2 UHF reader (850-950 MHz). The third RFID reader is the built-in Galaxy S III NFC reader (13.56MHz).
The same functionality shown in this video also works with iClass NFC, Mifare, ICODE, Tag-it and other NFC & RFID readers (ISO 14443A, ISO 15693) [CO: for these values]
iScanRoster is easy-to-use for taking attendance, event check-in, and much more. The attendee roster is easily uploaded to the Galaxy S3 from any Excel or CSV file.
With 3 RFID readers available simultaneously, users can check in with Low frequency (LF) PROX HID tags, GEN2 Ultra high frequency (UHF) tags, and High frequency (HF) tags. Scanfob® brand barcode scanners, and other barcode reader models, are also supported.
The attendee places the badge or tag near the reader and Mobile Grid captures the badge number, records the checked-in time, and displays the attendee picture when it’s available.
Mobile Grid’s iScanRoster can notify when a user is already checked in, and when the attendee is not found on the roster.
When all the attendees are check-in, results are wirelessly uploaded and posted anywhere as an Excel file, CSV file via email, FTP or direct to a SQL database.
iScanRoster is one of the many applications available using the Grid-In-Hand™ Mobile Grid. Other solutions include asset tracking, building inspection, inventory, restocking, security, people counting, attendance management, job time tracking, ticket check-in and more.
